Job Background/Context:

The Credit IT organization is looking to expand its testing execution capabilities in the NAM timezone. We are looking for a Senior QA/Testing Specialist to be part of Credit Retail & Institutional eTrading team based in Tampa. The role will focus on

• Testing planning, test cases design/maintenance, tests execution, and test reporting for all the releases

• Working with our QA team in Shanghai to meet Citi’s QA standard and principle

• Working with IT from at external venues to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during testing

• Focusing on test execution that is restricted to the EST timezone due to external market dependencies

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for translating complex user requirements to executable test cases

• Be responsible for executing tests and validating test results to ensure components meet the requirements

• Be responsible for tracking issue through the whole life cycle

• Be responsible for giving timely detailed test report to the global team

• Be responsible for testing both functional and quality of service (security, performance and robustness) requirements for the platform.

• Be responsible for our QA work meeting Citi’s QA standard and principle

Key Relationships:

• Lead Developers in Credit Technology and other Markets IT groups (Rates, FX, etc)

• Shanghai QA Team

• Technical contacts at External Vendors/Markets

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

• 3+ years’ work experience, ideally in investment banking

• Experience in eTrading, Front to back trade processing/workflows with sound understanding of eTrading workflows, trade lifecycle, touchpoints and associated business functions

• Prior knowledge of Financial Products (preferably credit products) and associated market/trading conventions

• Experience in testing scopes/responsibilities through the whole release cycle

• Strong test case design ability and test execution ability

• Automation programming experience in any of Java, VBS, Python using any of Selenium, UFT (preferable)

• Experience working in a Front Office Trading environment (preferable)

• Experience of operating in a complex global environment (preferable)

• Working experience on Linux and database

Skills:

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into test planning, and executable test cases

• Ability to execute tests, track issues, report test progress timely.

• Ability to design and maintain test cycles/cases/history in JIRA

• Ability to track all issues in JIRA

• Ability to do basic investigation on any issues

• Have solid and hands on automation experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)

• Ability to learn new business concepts and technologies quickly

• Ability to own and drive tasks/assignments while collaborating with peers and other Technology teams

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to think creatively in order to propose innovative solutions to complex problems
