Paychex Health and Benefits National Sales Consultant in Tampa, Florida

Leads the tactical direction for H&B Sales, as approved by the Sr. Director of H&B Sales, by partnering with H&B Sales & Operations and PEO Sales & Operations (Underwriting, HRG's, Training, Strategy, etc.) to ensure that the organization maximizes attachment of either PEO Health or H&B Health while improving the client experience and onboarding to achieve divisional and company financial goals and objectives. Acts as liaison and key resource for both PEO and H&B field sales organization.

  • Understand and support the needs of PEO and H&B Field Sales teams; assist Sr. Leadership in the development, coordination and implementation of PEO and H&B partnership sales process in all Paychex markets.

  • Identify effective workflow processes (between teams) designed to promote quick response times and enhance client experience (e.g. quoting, onboarding, etc.)

  • Develop tracking system for PEO-H&B leads/referrals, quotes and service escalations

  • Identify and forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities between both sales teams.

  • Act as escalation resource to resolve partnership issues quickly and effectively

  • Develop a national communication strategy to enable consistency in best practices for HRS and H&B partnership sales

  • Modifies training materials and programs as needed; responsible for training the field sales organization on enhancements to processes and procedures.

  • Work with sales DSM?s on both teams to bridge gaps and better cultivate profitable relationships in local markets

  • Gain and share solid knowledge of both teams as well as outside competitors per local markets

  • Promote high-quality sales and customer service processes
