P2P is Citigroup’s global initiative that uses financial applications encompassing Accounts Payable(AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA), Expense General Ledger (GL), and Procurement to leverage the power of a single integrated database with common data processes and standards. Citi’s implementation of P2P is one of the largest Oracle E-Business Financial Suite Global Single Instance footprints. P2P processes over 95.1% of Citi’s over $30B in global annual spend. Fully integrated application suite improves transparency of spend, systemically enforces Citi Expense Policy and adherence to global standards. High availability system configured with complex architecture that is comprised of 50 Production Servers, running 24x7. Provides self-service tools and workflows across broad employee base

The employee hired for this position will be responsible for support of the infrastructure of P2P. This includes troubleshooting of issues, routine housekeeping activities, patches/upgrades, COB tests, adoption of Cloud/Container, management of infrastructure risks. Adhere to GPA policies on change management and incident management.

As a vendor partner is engaged to provide this support, the employee will also be responsible for directing and overseeing the work done by vendor resources. Essentially, the person will be part of the Citi Management team responsible and accountable for all upkeep of the P2P / EBS, Webcenter, NDM, Oracle access manager, Siteminder SSO integrations, endeca and other supporting technology infrastructure. Some of the specific job responsibilities include:

  1. Capacity Management

  2. Issue Management (Incidents, requests and changes) and Periodic housekeeping activities

  3. Technical leadership: Architecture planning and execution

  4. Planning and execution of upgrades, patches, managing Tech refresh and tech mandated activities

  5. Risk management (Information Security, Infrastructure, High Availability, Vulnerabilities, etc.)

  6. Project management of Major projects

  7. Financial management (budgeting, procurement, chargeback) of hardware/software and labor costs

  8. Vendor Management:

  9. Labor Vendor

  10. Hardware/Software Vendor

  11. Compliance: Adhere to Citi's internal compliance procedures.

  12. Must understand and manage multiple technologies like RPA, BCV, Oracle WebCenter, Actifio, scaleIO, Endeca etc. along with Oracle EBS.

  13. Overall strategy of managing large databases over 20 TB with over 100k users.

  14. Working towards organization goals in eliminating manual work and providing self-service to the customers.

8 + years in Oracle applications and database administration with Oracle EBS 12 and R12.2.

5+ years experience with diagnosing and performance tuning complex problems in the database as well as in the middle tier on EBS R12.

Prior experience working on very large databases extending into multiple terabytes.

Exposure to defining backup strategies and optimizing the databases by adopting standard best practices.

Exposure to RAC installations, management and tuning RAC environments.

Experience with Oracle WebCenter technology and Portal along with similar SSO integration on a large EBS environment.

The candidate would be working with a team of 30 other engineers leading teams on various projects and must be a team player.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding SDLC, experience with PMP, AIM methodology and ITIL is a Plus.

  • Ability to analyze and learn new technologies and work in a complex environment to execute these technologies.

  • Working independently and with teams to execute complicated projects.

  • Understanding various versions of Oracle database features, Oracle EBS architecture, Weblogic and NDM. Exposure to Siteminder and integration with Oracle EBS.

  • Experience with Oracle Endeca

  • Working experience on a massive Oracle EBS environment with 24X7 support model.
